The everted rims painted in coloured enamels and iron-red, the centre with two confronting cockerels, beside blue enamel rockwork with emerging peony blooms. A butterfly flying above the centrale scene, all within a double ring medallion ; the border with continuous peony, prunus, lotus and chrysanthemum bloom.
