An unrecorded Chinese armorial cup for the French market (comte de Goyon). Qianlong
Decorated in the famille rose palette, with garlands of flowers and the coat of arms of the Goüyon family (Goyon) in a rocaille style, D’argent au lion de gueules couronné d’or. It is surrounded by two banners, the first of Goüyon, the second of the maison de Rieux, D’azur, à dix besants d’or (ici neuf). The maison de Rieux, from which the Goüyon are descendant, is one of the oldest family from Britain, born from Alain Ier de Bretagne, dit le Grand, roi de Bretagne at the end of the 9th century. à la fin du IXe siècle.
This order is attributed to the comte François Jean Servais de Goüyon (1756-1808), lieutenant de vaisseau.
