A very fine famille rose coffee pot with a European subject. Qianlong

After a silver-shape, and decorated in the famille rose palette with sprays of flowers and a central medallion on each side depicting a scene of gallantry with a courtship between two lovers. A young man is wooing a lady on a window sill. She has a basket of red berries on her knees, with a parrot perched on her hand. An evil-looking old woman is spying on them hidden behind the window.
