A large Chinese famille verte – rose dish decorated with a « family scene ». Yongzheng

Decorated with an unusual mixed palette, with a central scene depicting a family. The father activates a grinding machine while his wife pours wheat from a sack onto a board. A bag is next to the machine to receive the flour under the watchful eyes of their son, symbol of family happiness. On the rim, a blue treillis and four reserves with insects.
