A large Chinese blue and white dish decorated with a peacock for the Asian market (Swatow) – Ming dynasty (ca. 1600)
Decorated in underglaze blue, the rim decorated with six alternating floral medallions and fish scale design. At the centre, the decoration depicts a peacock among flowers.
