Notice

The magnolia is a symbol of purity and delicacy. Its very name “Jade flower” signifies its value. In Chinese (Yù) jade is part of the magnolia name 玉兰 (Yùlán) or jade flower. The flower buds are also used as a herbal remedy and prized goods. The magnolia tree also symbolizes also feminine sweetness and beauty. Similar libation cups were sculpted in bamboo or zitan during the Kangxi period (1662-1722).
