This two plates were sold at Sotheby’s NYC, Style: Furniture, Silver, Ceramics, 21 October 2020, lot 162 (Property from the Collection of Henry H. Arnhold, sold to benefit The Arnhold Foundation).

A pair of almost identical examples of the Chinese plate from the Goldmuntz Collection was sold at Sotheby’s London, May 9, 1972, lot 122, and a set of four was sold also at Sotheby’s London, May 15, 1973, lot 91. A second example of a Meissen plate with a Chinese plate were sold at Christie’s Geneva, The Estate of the late Andreina Torre, November 16, 1992, lot 166
