Decorated in the famille rose palette with a lady and her attendant who is carrying a cithare qin, a chinese musical instrument, in front of a fenced garden decorated with rocks, shrubs and water lilies. The rim is painted with flowering branches of peonie, anemone and prunus, all executed with the balance, the elegance and the beauty of enameling that typifies the Yongzheng period.
