Painted in famille rose enamels. In the centre, a pair of pheasants on a blue rock among peonies, magnolia blooms and daisies, in the well, a pink lozenge-diaper border with four cartouches, with emblems (pair of books, Artemisia leaves) tied in ribbons, round the rim, flower sprays alternating with formal floral designs enclosed in wreaths.
