The autor notes that only 3 cups and saucers and a plate of this tea and coffee service have survived.

Notice

Jacob Rijzik served the VOC Chamber Zeeland as a ship’s captain and was in Canton from the summer 1756 to the second half of 1757 where he probably ordered this tea and coffee set. He was born in Brielle.
